Getting Involved

You don't need a PhD in Military History — just a willingness to help.

Volunteers at a headstone dedication

The Headstone Project are looking for committed, hard working and community minded people from all over Australia to help us continue our work — and you don't need to have a PhD in Military History! Installing headstones for ALL returned World War 1 soldiers around the country who are in unmarked graves and giving each one a headstone is a mighty challenge. We can do it but we are going to need lots of money and lots of arms and legs.

We are aiming to put information on this page to guide any of you who are asking yourselves "I want to help but I don't know how". Please check back here to see updated information on what you can do in your town, city or state to help.
