Thomas Edward Rowley

Thomas enlisted in Hobart in September 1914 and embarked for Egypt with the original 12th Battalion. He landed at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915, was wounded at Lone Pine, and returned to Tasmania in 1918. He worked as a wharf labourer until his death in 1962 and was buried in an unmarked grave at Cornelian Bay.
